1CS is a Toronto based IT Service Provider, offering IT Services to small, medium and enterprise sized organizations as well as offering in home Computer Services to individuals and home-based business. Our team prides itself on finding solutions to technological challenges.
The company was founded in 2013 and incorporated in 2014 by it’s principals Blake Fick and John Schick. Blake was formally with CBI Health Group for over 5 years, occupying the position of IT Support Manager and head of the department supporting over 14,000 health care professionals. Blake is now 1CS’s Chief Operating Officer. John previously held the position of VP, Business Affairs for HLP + Partners, a Toronto based Film & Television Producer, managing the parent and its subsidiary productions, for 13 years. John is 1CS’s Chief Executive.
With offices in Toronto and Barrie, 1CS provides IT Services from Toronto to Barrie including, Etobicoke, Scarborough, North York, Concord, Vaughan, Kleinburg, Richmond Hill, Markham, Brampton, Mississauga, Burlington, Pickering, Ajax, Stouffville-Whitchurch, Innisfil, Whitby, Oakville, Milton, Whitby, Simcoe region and other regions across the GTA and southern Ontario.
In 2015 the company began growing outside of its traditional mid-town Toronto service area into York and Peel regions. Our IT Outsource Model for Break-Fix IT Support Services quickly became a much sought-after alternative, within our market, compared to the traditional model of hiring more staff. The company also began acting as a sub-contractor to other IT Service Providers and Managed Service Provider’s in other Canadian provinces.
Providing service through a network of young and energetic IT professionals. The company has at its disposal, the people and resources to solve a wide range of technical issues. Working with in house technicians and independent contractors to deliver first class IT Services to SMB’s and Large Enterprise in Southern Ontario and MSP’s across Canada. Services are provided onsite at the client’s location or by remote access from our support desk.
By 2018, 1CS secured contracts to support medium sized companies operating in Canada and the US, supporting both franchise and corporate run structures. Concurrently 1CS began offering Managed IT Services such as high-grade remote monitoring and management of servers or other endpoints and Cyber Security Services.

More recently, the company has gone paperless. The management team did this by moving work order forms online, shifting to a credit card-based payment system, making payment by EFT, creating quotes digitally using our cloud-based CRM, adjusting our printing policies and instilling a culture of environmental stewardship.
