A number of our clients prefer the Exchange email platform because it is a robust email system designed for business., comes with some of the features of Office 365 and the rest can be added on. Each plan includes synchronization of contacts and calendars across multiple devices, plenty of storage and other bells and whistles including Outlook. Business also like that Exchange can be deployed in different ways including via Microsoft Exchange Server, Hosted Exchange, Cloud Exchange and on-premise server. Companies looking for a top-of-the-line email product will often choose an Exchange or Office 365 product. It costs more but you can do so much more. G Suite is Google’s email platform for professionals. It compares to Office 365 and Exchange in that it is designed for business. Many of the features and tools found in the other options can be found in a G Suite plan. Companies often choose G Suite because they like Google products and services including Google Drive and Google Calendar, are familiar with Gmail or Google has a feature which the other options don’t have. G Suite is one of the more expensive options, but you get what you pay for, and those who use it, like it. G Suite is totally web-based, there are no options to open Gmail from your desktop.
